Sons Surgery

Well my son went in the hospital for out patient surgery on July 17 to fix a ACL tear,I think thats the right order.He did great during surgery but afterward he would not wake up good and started being sick,so he ended up in hospital over night.
So we ended up staying the night because it was over 50 miles to hospital and we wanted to be close just in case so the hospital has deals with hotels for cheaper rates for people at hospital and their family so we got a nice room for 30 dollars and breakfast coupon for free breakfast for us 2 at hotels resturant,and it was good, so we figure we got a good deal LOL.
So the next day he was released that afternoon. and we came home.
He is not suppose to work but being the owner of his business he has had too.He has no employee insurance and his commercial mower is arm ran so he does not have to stand my hubby has been driving him,helping him on mower,and propping his leg up.And off he goes.My hubby has been doing weed eating and blowing walkways.He has allot of commercial accounts that have to be done.
So he is healing good the incision is nice and clean.And is being a good patient.Hugs,Linda

July Wow!!!

Wow it is July already we had a quite Forth at home this year.We BQ ribs and rented movies and just relaxed,it was just a nice Family day.
Donnie will be going in for Knee surgery July 17 for a AL tear in the ligament and they will be reconstruction done,this is from the wreck a few months back and it is still no better,So time to get it fixed he is hoping for full time at fire Dept in Dec or Jan they may be hiring 2 men.So we will see.
My oldest daughter is thinking on moving closer,she lives in Virginia now.She will be moving to Alabama which is about 4 hours from us.Her hubby is being stationed in Korea for 7 months to a year,He has been military for almost 20 years and will be getting out when he returns,hopefully.It will be nice having her closer and the grand children too she has 4 girls the oldest 19 is in college 2nd year,the others are 17,13,10.So she will have her hands full for sure.Well thats about it for my news right now.:)

Summer Is Here

Well hello and I do believe Summer is here.It is really hot here in Georgia.101 degree weather and really dry.You may have watched on TV the fire in Georgia that jumped to Florida, time.
Well that was close to me and my Son,Donnie worked with fire department trying to put that one out.It was huge but they did get it out of town and in the woods,they saved allot of houses.And Thank God no one was killed during the month or more long battle. One fireman was hit by a truck,but it was moving slow do to the smoke and broke his leg,he is doing fine now.
We suffered a month of bad smoke though.

Well Donnie is setting up surgery date for his knee so that should be soon.
We will be in Georgia longer waiting for it to heal it will be a long healing.So please keep him in your prayers

Decisions :)

Well it has been one month!:( The step and family will not stop the harassment of my son Donnie.

Step Father got took into court for almost hitting a police officer he didn't see when he passed the rescue truck at a scene (he knew it was Donnie)he almost hit the police officer because he didn't see him and the police and highway patrol went after steps truck and SIL who was following step.
Donnie did not even see him he was working on victims at the accident it was a bad wreck.

Well he got contempt of court ,ect on him and my younger daughter for running mouth at judge and blaming Donnie.He ended up with 30 thousand in court fines and lawyer fees and he ended up put on probation ect.
This week he didn't move for the fire chief on the road,they were on their way to a wreck with 6 victims entrapped in a car and hurt bad.Once again he thought it was Donnie in the fire truc.He actually stopped the car at accident the scene.Donnie was cutting people out with jaws of life and putting them on boards,step was heading to Donnie when the chief stopped him and told him he was to leave the scene. He cussed this man for white trash,ect(Which this man is not in any way at all,told him he didnt have enough money to get him,( and the chief is a wealthy man LOL)much more than step. All this just to hurt my son.He is crazy.

But this time head chief in County,fire chief he passed,steps lawyer,chief of police and officer he almost hit,highway patrol went to judge and talked with him then went to steps house with steps lawyer present,he was told what was going to happen because judge had given orders So he got 6000 thousand in fines for what he did that day to fire chief.

So it has been crazy for us again.Now Donnie is on top of list to be hired for the county fire department which pays good money better than city,if he get chosen.

But if you remember a few months back Donnie had a 4 wheeler wreck where a drunk driver ran him off the road and he hurt his knee well it never got better.

Well not good Donnie has to have surgery
He has a torn ligament one football players get.L A tear I think Dr. said
He will be out of work 6-8 weeks no walking on it to much and it takes 3 months or more to completely heal SO....
doing some planning this is his busy season in landscaping if he can handle it he will wait till it slows down some but not sure yet he may go do it sooner.

We are doing what we can to help him.Being out of work isn't going to be good with his bills and this is for months,so....Will keep you updated.

Please pray for him to decide what to do and that we will be able to help him without the surgery he will not be able to do the physical requirments that he has to go to Atlanta Georgia for more intence training that is required for full time and more testing.

God Is Good

Thank you my friends , for the prayers said for us.God has lifted the burden and all is well.The DA and judge have dropped the charges the reviewing of tape showed the attack made on him by step father.
It is erased from my sons background record,which is very important for he is a firefighter and has to have a clean background,he had just been investigated by F.B.I.,as a requirement for his position in the fire dept.He has never been in any trouble not even a ticket he is 32 years old.
We have decided to move from here as family members will not stop what they are doing and we can not take the stress any longer,it has been 5 years of uncalled for torture and using our son for their target to get at me to break me, but I will not put him through anymore so we have decided to sale and start life else where.
God forgive my mother,step father,and youngest daughter they one day will stand before him knowing what they have done and the evilness that they have done.I have placed it in Gods hand so I surrender it to him too deal with.Thank you for being with me in my time of need,God Bless you all.

Mothers Day

Was celebrated quitely at our house.We cooked at home and all for this weekend we are meeting our oldest daughter and grand daughter who live in Virginia.We are meeting for a week camping trip,then back home at our house and on to Troy University in Alabama to check it out for our oldest daughter is now moving to Alabama so grand daughter is moving with them.They have been in army for almost 19 years,her husband has to go to Korea for a tour of duty and then they are retiring to Alabama thats were they consider home my children for we lived there when they were children,it will be nice to have her near.
So I wanted to celerbrate with them.
I did recieve gifts from son and hubby I got some short outfits,sandles,socks,bird bath for garden,and a plug for notebook for the car for charging batteries.
My guys were good too me.

Please pray for My Son and us.

Prayers for family and son desperately needed: My son and a store clerk are facing perjury charges for telling the truth.Yes a judge ordered this due to a possible bad tape or a tampered one the police now say.
Mt step father attacked my son a few weeks ago in a store that was witnessed by a store clerk who told the police that night and the judge the same.That night they got her statement,tape,and sons statement,the officer on duty didn't want to arrest him due to family.But with this man he is impossible he will not stop with out intervention,the next day he followed my son and harrased him again.My son posted a resticed order on him that this same judge told him too.And also same judge told us we needed no lawyer when step got one
Their has been bad blood between me and my step since I was a girl due to molestation and attempted rape which he confessed to my Mother because I had confided to boy friend who is my husband of 40 years now.They were both alcoholics as was my father he died when I was 14 and the molestion got worse then.
My Mother at the time turned on me with "What is the big deal you are probally doing it with Boyfriend"But to stay near my mother,sister and brother I lived with it for over 40 years.
Five years ago my mother and step moved to Georgia when my steps liver went he and my mother were alcoholics,they got here started trouble with my family and our younger daughter who thinks of only material things and money.Which my mother and step hold over her.My younger sister and brother both died in 2000 with cancer so I was only one left to inherrite they are quite wealthy,but I could bow no longer it got worse the punishment once my siblings died,and they made my life misserable so it ended up with them not speaking to me for 18 months until I got a death bed call on step I went to his bedside,he survived we talked for a few months daughter and all then step brought up past said I asked for it ect a bunch of lies,my Mother once again stood with him.I kissed her goodbye told her I loved her and left this time they did not speak to me for almost 3 years.Then a few months ago I got a death bed call from step my Mother wanted me,so I drove 5 hours to hospital she was in .My husband,son, went with me,my step treated us terrible and our daughter went to hotel and would not face us.I sat with my mother and told her I loved her.
I called everyday for 5 days to check on her until my step answered the phone and told me not to call anymore and to leave her alone.I was devasted my hubby called hospital next day to see if I misunderstood,my Mother told him she could not upset step so once again I left her alone.The next day our daughter called and appoligised to me for them doing me that way and she told my mother that was wrong said my mother would call me when she got home when step was not around.My daughter continued to call afterward.She has spread some visious lies on her brother,she has wanted him out ever since he graduated my son is 32 never married and at home he has moved out but came back he was to lonesome,but he is a big help to us.But daughter is very jealous of him for no reason.Her older sister and his also sees nothing wrong with him being at home with us.
My oldest daughter has told her since this has happened to son she wants no more to do with younger sister.It breaks my heart to see my children split.
But now a innocent clerk for telling the truth and my son for asking for a order for step to leave him alone have been charged with perjury by judge becaus he could not see step hitting my son clerk tried to tell judge the displays hid steps attack it was shot from front and my son is taller and muscular,you could see my son lifting his arm to ward off blows to his face.
We live in a small town the police told us if it doesn't show blows the tape has been tampered with it was given to steps lawyer.Before court lawyer was in chambers with the judge. The judge came out right away that witness and son were lieing,he was going to lock them up too change their story.The clerk held to her story so did son even with the judge baggering them.I never saw a judge act this way.
So if this goes down it is in DA hands now this poor girl who was innocent bystander just working and my son will go to prison.Also my son will lose his certifation as a firefighter,
for it is a felony so his carrer as a fire fighter is over.
We have hired a lawyer to fight for son,we can do nothing for the clerk till son is finished.But we don't know if she has family to help her or what,but we will go to bat financialy or whatever for this poor innocent girl such a shame.We did have a friend call her employees to let them know she was a brave young person.
Please pray that our Savior and Lord will protect my family and see judice done.Hugs,Linda

Shopping

Well I have been trying to get ready for summer with some cooler clothes seems the stores think we are all size 10 LOL.But I finally found some shorts that come to the knees,and not short shorts.It is in the 90 in Georgia already.My son is busy fighting fires from brush fires.If you have been hearing about the big fire here in Georgia that has been burning for weeks well that is near us it has burned 165 thousand acres(that is over 100 miles of land,it has burned 22 houses so far but luckily no firefighters have lost their life nor anyone else.My son has been down fighting that fire .We need rain so bad and none expected.I would like to ask you all to remember our state in prayer for rain to douse this fire and help for the families out of their homes due to burning down or being in danger of burning.Hugs,Linda

Planning a Trip

We are going to meet our oldest Daughter who lives in News-Port,VA,and Grand daughter in college, May 18 around Brunswick,Ga and going camping ,this is what they wanted to do. our daughter has been a Army wife for 19 years,and she will be moving to Alabama,after school lets out,she has lived far away all her married life she will only be 4 hours from us now.That is going to be nice to see more of her and grands,they have allot of plans this coming year.Her hubby will be in Korrea for a tour of duty for a year or more and then retire.So we are getting the RV ready again LOL!!!Hugs to all.Linda

Sad Sad!

Well the Virginia Tech University is a very sad event and will be long remembered,My prayers are with the students,family,teachers during these hard days of grief.It hit home with us.As my Grand Daughter goes to a University very close to VT.She went to high school with many of the VT students.So far she has found most of her friends safe and still some not accounted for.This has hit many college students hard,she says it has stunned them in Dorms,she lives in a dorm at her college,that someone could do something like that.So it has affect far more than VT.I feel so bad for the young lives with dreams of a future cut short so needlessly,SAD !May God Bless them all.and ease their family and friends loss.
I have been having allot of pain with Fibromyalgia,and busy still coaching fly lady.
We go to court the 15 of may with step father and the attack of my son,my son is seeking relief from stalking of him by my step and also of his attack another sad day when my Mother stands by this man,I can not and have never understood her.Hope you all are doing well.Hugs,Linda

Been Busy here Lately!

I have been busy lately I coach , some of us ladies each morning on Fly Lady cleaning,yes I still Fly I would be lost without it.Things here are a little nuts my step father attacked my son in a convenience store ,my son did not hit him just protected his face,and told him to stop hitting him this is a man who likes to have power over everyone.So my son is having a restraning order put on him so he can not come within 500 yards of him.He hates to do this but there is no way to stop this mans harasment.It is so sad.I have not been to see my Mother in 3 years due to this man.And I went to hospital 3 hours up the road when I was called she might die for this my step father got mad and attacked my son.They live about 8 miles from me.My Mother allows his behavior,he has ran off my sister and brother before they died and I was last one to go.Growing up as a child this man has cussed,abused and terrorized me.Three years ago he attacked me verbally again over his wrongs of abuse of me so I left my Mothers house kissed her and said I loved her.I heard nothing from her for 3 years,until last week when they put her in hospital for blood clots and she made him come,I went to see her and called hospital every day till he answered and told me not to call her anymore to leave her alone.I thought I had herad wrong and did not want to hurt my mother so hubby called and asked had I heard right.My Mother said yes and for me not to call her.I was hurt and stunned then the attack on my son,they have turned my youngest daughter with promise of money and my sil and her are money hungry.My oldest is very upset on how her sister is doing us and can not understand her for she knows how my Mother and step father are.They are not nice people.So please join me in prayer for they are trying to make trouble for my son at fire department with annomus calls of bad driving which the fire dept can not have nor the drama.He has worked so hard for this for some crazy family to ruin it for him.So I Praying for a quick end to it all the judge will decide what to do arrest or restrain.But being a small place they make their own laws so plese Pray for my family.Hugs,Linda

Not Feeling Good

The last few days has been the pits,me and my son are sick with some kind of stomach bug,yucky.I had been busy in the house as usual.Well Tuesday my son is going for fire fighters test,he has been going to school and been a fire fighter volunteer he is hoping to be hired part time but hopes for full time position to if none of the others want full time.I am praying Our Dear Lord give him the knowledge he will need.He wants this so bad.He loves helping people and is a people person.He has had many bad things in his life happen and I so do pray this is meant for him.He wants this so badly,Friends please pray with me, if it's Gods will that he passes this written test and 2 minute to get in fire fighter gear.If he goes full time he will have to go to Atlanta for another test.So we will know next week if he passes the test.I am nervous for him.

Cleaning Away!

Well I have been real busy cleaning my house.I am a mod on 2 boards in the Home section---- Fly Lady cleaning lOL!!!Yes I am still a Fly Baby. I am trying to help others get a routine going.I do it everyday at 10 my Georgia time.The ladies are having fun and getting their houses done.
I get the benefit of someone cleaning with me lol which gets me moving as well so I am loving it and it sure helps my dear hubby out since he does so much to help me.
My son and daughter are on the mend and doing much better.My daughter is wanting to go back to work .LOL guess she does feel better.My sons leg mostly the knee is still giving him trouble,it may be the tendons,he may have to let it mend more if not back to the doctor he is wearing a knee brace right now to keep the knee in place.Hope everyone is doing well.

Time Is Flying

Wow I nearly for got this.This month has flown by and I have been busy.
My daughter had to have a hysterectomy she has 4 children and she was in allot of pain,the surgery went well and she did great.I Thank the Lord for being with her
We have really been blessed by the lord in keeping my love ones safe ,my son was in a 4 wheeler,he has a big 4 wheeler,well a drunk ran him off a track with a truck,he was not suppose to be on 4 wheeler track my son to avoid running into a tree or being hit head-on took to the ditch the bike went head first and came back down on top of my son,luckily another firefighter was with him and him and several there got the bike off him quickly as gas was pouring out of the 4 wheeler and onto him
He ended up bruised and a sprained leg and major road rash on side and arm ,shoulder,knee,leg,hip hurt.His leg was worst it wasn't broken but was a mess,badly swollen,bruised,sprained.They put a hard full leg brace on it.We are just so thankful it wasn't worse.So I am a thankful Mom this month.Hope everyone is doing well.I see Lorie hasn't had the baby yet but I am thinking of her.Take care Ladies.Hugs,Linda

Happy New Years A Little Late!

Well to all my friend I will wish a vary Happy New Year with good things to come.We had a wonderful vacation and got home Jan 2. We had such a good time and saw some wonderful sights and I was free in nature that God created for us to enjoy.I have been a little down with some kind of stomach thing but seems better now and of course Mr. Fibromyalgia had to make himself known for a few days LOL!Never lonesome with him to keep me company.:).
I am having trouble sleeping at night another cycle that will pass soon I hope LOL.
I have been cleaning and decluttering for the new year.I hope everyone is well and doing great!
